Raskin’s special interests include Mohs Micrographic Surgery, which is a specialized method for removing skin cancers. Raskin has been a researcher and has also published scientific articles on liposuction and skin cancer treatment as well as co-authoring chapters in textbooks on cutaneous surgery and laser surgery.ĭr. His list of medical accomplishments includes consulting for industry, inventing and developing medical instruments and founding his own company, Surgiguide Products. Raskin is also a Qualified Medical Evaluator for the Industrial Medical Council of the State of California. He holds fellowships in the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery, and is a member of the L.A.County and California Medical Associations.ĭr. He serves as a volunteer faculty in the Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology at UCLA with responsibilities including teaching dermatologic surgery, lasers, and cosmetic dermatology.
